Miura’s Legacy Lives on in ‘ Berserk ‘ Volume 42 – Dark Horse Comics
Dark Horse Manga will bring the continuation of Kentaro Miura’s beloved manga series to English audiences beginning in Spring 2025
The powerful loss of Kentaro Miura, the legendary mangaka and creator of Berserk, has been felt across the world. Miura-sensei’s lifelong friend and fellow manga creator, Kouji Mori, has taken on the immense task of leading Miura’s team at Studio Gaga in the quest to carry on the story and art of the Berserk saga. We can now announce that Dark Horse Manga will continue the English publication of this iconic series with Berserk Volume 42. This volume will contain 192 pages and measure 5.125” x 7.25” to match the standard paperback size of this series, and feature the series’ traditional double-sided bound-in color poster. It will fit right in with fans’ collections when it arrives in March 2025.
Previously in Berserk Volumes 40 and 41, Schierke and Farnese battled endless horrors to reach the dark secret that has imprisoned Casca’s mind since the shattering events of the Invocation of Doom. Though Casca reclaimed her sanity, she and Guts the Black Swordsman then faced the personal challenge of their reunion… and the harrowing memories of her gruesome ordeal.
