Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars #1 Brings Mega-City Mayhem to Oni Press
Judge Dredd is about to collide with the Biker Mice From Mars in one of the wildest crossover announcements of 2026.
Ahead of Comic-Con International in San Diego, Oni Press, The Nacelle Company, and Rebellion announced Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars #1, a two-issue deluxe-format crossover launching in December 2026. The series brings Mega-City One’s most feared lawman face-to-face with Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo in a high-speed clash of justice, mutant mayhem, and interdimensional chaos.
For fans following new releases from Oni Press, this is a major crossover event that connects classic British comics, 1990s animation nostalgia, and modern collector-focused storytelling.
The Law Meets the Mice
Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars #1 will be written by Dan Watters and Ryan O’Sullivan, with art by Jordi Tarragona. The story spans two 40-page deluxe issues and introduces the Biker Mice into the brutal sprawl of Mega-City One, where Dredd’s version of law and order does not leave much room for renegade Martian bikers.
The setup is pure crossover chaos.
Across fractured space-time, villains Limburger and Karbunkle discover a strange new world to exploit. Their target is Mega-City One, the smog-choked metropolis ruled by the unforgiving hand of the Justice Department. But when Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo ride in to stop the latest cross-dimensional scheme, they end up stranded in a city packed with 400 million angry citizens — and one lawman determined to bring them in.
That lawman is Judge Dredd.
Why This Crossover Works
On paper, this sounds bizarre. In practice, it makes a strange kind of sense.
Judge Dredd has always thrived on satire, violence, absurdity, and dystopian excess. Biker Mice From Mars brings rebellious energy, alien attitude, mutant villains, and oversized action. Put them together, and the result feels like a collision built for fans who grew up on comics, cartoons, toys, and strange crossovers that should not work — but somehow absolutely do.
The presence of Judge Death raises the stakes even higher. What begins as a clash between Dredd and the Biker Mice quickly escalates into something darker, stranger, and more dangerous. The Mice may be outlaws in Mega-City One, but once Judge Death enters the picture, man and mouse alike may have bigger problems than surviving the law.

A Big Moment for Collectors
This announcement is not limited to the page.
The crossover also marks the first major step in a new merchandising partnership between Rebellion and The Nacelle Company. Nacelle’s Consumer Product division will develop action figures and collectibles featuring crossover versions of Biker Mice From Mars and Judge Dredd characters. The first wave is expected to go up for pre-order in fall 2026, with release planned for 2027.
That gives this launch extra collector appeal. For longtime Biker Mice From Mars fans, it continues the franchise’s new push through comics and collectibles. For Judge Dredd fans, it adds another unexpected crossover to the character’s long history of strange and memorable encounters.
External coverage from IGN and The Beat has already spotlighted the crossover’s unusual hook, creative team, and toy-line connection.
San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Bonus
Fans attending Comic-Con International 2026 in San Diego will have a chance to grab a limited promotional reward tied to the announcement.
Beginning Thursday, July 23, attendees can visit the Rebellion booth #2121 to pick up a free Mega-City One parking ticket with an official Department of Justice stamp. From there, fans can get the ticket stamped in sequence at the Nacelle Company booth #2547 and the Oni Press booth #1829 to receive one of 500 limited-edition Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars art prints featuring cover art by David Finch.
That is exactly the kind of convention-only giveaway that could become a serious collector item once the series gets closer to release.
Covers and Creative Team
The first issue will feature cover art by David Finch, Karl Kerschl, Andrew Krahnke, and more artists still to be revealed.
The cover lineup already shows how much visual range this crossover has. Finch’s cover leans into Dredd’s grim, towering presence in Mega-City One. Kerschl’s cover gives the crossover a sleek, animated action feel. Krahnke’s cover puts the Biker Mice front and center with a bold, retro-comic punch.
Final Thoughts
Judge Dredd / Biker Mice From Mars #1 feels like the kind of crossover that could pull in several different audiences at once.
Old-school Judge Dredd readers get Mega-City One, Judge Death, and classic lawman intensity. Biker Mice From Mars fans get Throttle, Vinnie, and Modo in their first crossover outside the NacelleVerse. Collectors get deluxe issues, major variant covers, SDCC exclusives, and a future toy line. New readers get a loud, accessible, high-concept event built around action, attitude, and pure comic book spectacle.
You cannot outrun the law.
And apparently, you cannot outbike it either.
