Void Rivals #1 Goes Skybound Gold and Will Return with 10 Covers to Celebrate a Historic Tenth Printing
The Energon Universe’s Inaugural Issue from Robert Kirkman & Lorenzo De Felici Returns to Comic Book Shops This September.
LOS ANGELES 08/12/2024 — Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, announced a historic tenth printing for Void Rivals #1, the issue that kicked off the Energon Universe in June 2023 and has gone on to smash sales records in just over a year. From the Oblivion Song team of Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) and Lorenzo De Felici (Kroma), along with colorist Matheus Lopes (Step by Bloody Step), and letterer Rus Wooton (Fire Power), the all-new Void Rivals #1 printings will be available comic books shops on September 11, 2024.

“The monumental tenth printing of Void Rivals #1 is a testament to the unparalleled impact of the Energon Universe,” said Alyse D’Antuono, Vice President, Global Brand Strategy & Management at Hasbro. “This achievement underscores the enduring power of storytelling and creativity, and importance of delivering upon what fans really want. Congratulations to Robert and Lorenzo, along with the full teams at Skybound and Image Comics, for this outstanding milestone.”
