The Craniacs universe is populated by skull-headed characters from two very different societies: the stone-aged Retrovia and the ultra-futuristic Futerra. The new Craniacs comic book series will feature the artistic talents of fan-favorite “GPK” artist Joe Simko, teaming up with acclaimed writer Sholly Fisch (Batman, Superman, Scooby-Doo). The Craniacs phenomenon began with the launch of the trading cards in October 2023.
